1. Introduction

Welcome to Mini Makers Workshop! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) explain the rules for attending our workshops and using our website.

By booking and allowing your child to attend a Mini Makers Workshop session, you agree to these Terms.

Please read them carefully before making a booking.

2. About Us

Mini Makers Workshop provides creative, one-hour, drop-off arts and crafts sessions for children in the UK.

References to “we”, “our”, or “us” mean Mini Makers Workshop.

For any questions, please contact us at minimakersworkshop@hotmail.com.

3. Bookings and Payments

  • All bookings must be made in advance through our website, email, or official event platform.
  • Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your child’s place.
  • Spaces are limited and confirmed only once payment has been received.
  • Payment is processed through trusted third-party providers; your financial details are not stored by us.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations by you: If you cancel your booking more than 7 days before the session, you can receive a full refund or transfer to another available session.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before the session are non-refundable, as staff and materials will already be arranged.
  • Cancellations by us: If we need to cancel a workshop (for example, due to illness or low numbers), we will offer a full refund or the choice to transfer to another date.
  • Missed sessions: No refunds or credits will be issued for non-attendance.

5. Drop-Off and Collection Policy

  • All workshops are drop-off only and last approximately one hour.
  • Parents or guardians must sign their child in and out at the start and end of the session.
  • Only authorised adults listed on your registration form may collect the child.
  • Please arrive on time for drop-off and collection to ensure smooth session transitions.

6. Supervision and Safety

  • All sessions are led by trained and DBS-checked staff who follow strict child-safeguarding procedures.
  • We maintain appropriate child-to-staff ratios to ensure safety and supervision.
  • We use non-toxic, child-safe craft materials; however, activities may involve small parts, glue, or paint.
  • Please inform us in advance of any allergies, medical conditions, or special needs.
  • We reserve the right to contact parents immediately if a child becomes unwell, distressed, or behaves in a way that affects the safety or enjoyment of others.

7. Behaviour

We encourage a positive and creative environment.

Children are expected to follow instructions, treat others kindly, and respect materials and staff.

We reserve the right to remove a child from a session if behaviour is unsafe or disruptive.

8. Personal Belongings

Children should not bring valuables or personal items to workshops.

Mini Makers Workshop cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings during sessions.

9. Photography and Media

We sometimes take photos or short videos during workshops for promotional purposes.

We will only do so with prior written consent from parents or guardians given at registration.

If you do not give consent, your child will not appear in any photos or media content.

10. Liability

While we take every care to provide a safe environment, participation in arts and crafts activities may involve minor, inherent risks.

Mini Makers Workshop is not liable for:

  • Accidental injury, loss, or damage unless caused by our negligence.
  • Personal items lost or damaged during the event.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or any rights that cannot be excluded under UK law.

11. Health and Illness Policy

Please do not send your child to a workshop if they are unwell, have a contagious illness, or are showing symptoms of being unfit to attend.

We reserve the right to refuse entry or ask for early collection if a child appears unwell during a session.

12. Website Use

All content on our website, including text, images, and logos, is owned by Mini Makers Workshop and may not be copied or used without permission.

You agree not to use our website for unlawful purposes or to disrupt its operation.

13. Data Protection

We handle all personal data in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Please read our Privacy Policy for full details of how we collect, use, and store personal information.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. The latest version will always be available on our website and will take effect immediately upon posting.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
